Sample kit
Send us the colours you're working to — a paint chip, a fabric swatch, a photograph, or a Pantone reference. We dye and wind wool to match and post it to your studio. Free to the trade, anywhere we ship.
A paint chip, a fabric sample, a photograph of something the rug has to sit beside. Anything physical is better than a screen.
Wool dyed by hand in small lots, wound onto a card, and posted to your studio.
Nothing goes on a loom until you've held the yarn. The approved sample becomes the standard we're held to.
Ask for a room visualisation at the same time — send a photograph of the room and we'll place the design into it to scale, so you and your client can judge it in the space rather than on a swatch card. Free, with the sample kit.
The colour library
Specify by number and there is nothing to misread — "colour 47" means the same thing in your studio and at our dye house. Or send a swatch and we'll dye to it, outside the library entirely.
Screen colour is never accurate. This chart is for narrowing down — the physical kit is what you decide from.
Our promise
Every colour here is dyed by hand, in small lots, by people rather than machines. That means a 5–10% variation between the sample and the finished rug — and that variation is the point. It's the difference between a rug that was made and a rug that was manufactured.
But variation isn't the same as wrong. If your rug doesn't match the samples you approved, we weave it again — at our cost, with no return shipping to arrange.
Applies against approved yarn samples, within 14 days of delivery, with photographs. Natural 5–10% dye variation isn't a fault. Doesn't cover a change of mind or a size measured incorrectly.
