Runners
Most custom runners aren’t woven at all. A roll of machine-made carpet is cut to your length and the raw edge is bound. It works, but you can see it: a cut edge, a pile that runs one way, and a seam if your staircase is long.
Ours are woven on a loom, to your measurement, in one continuous piece. No cut edge. No seam at 15 feet. Reversible, because a flatweave has no wrong side.
Runners are more than a third of everything we make — mostly two feet wide, in lengths from five to thirty. Long stair runs and winder staircases are routine work here, not a special order.

Our promise
A runner is one continuous piece, so the dye lot has to hold for thirty feet. We dye by hand in small lots and wind the whole run before weaving starts. That means a 5–10% variation between the sample and the finished rug — and that variation is the point. It's the difference between a rug that was made and a rug that was manufactured.
But variation isn't the same as wrong. If your rug doesn't match the samples you approved, we weave it again — at our cost, with no return shipping to arrange.
Applies against approved yarn samples, within 14 days of delivery, with photographs. Natural 5–10% dye variation isn't a fault. Doesn't cover a change of mind or a size measured incorrectly.
